My name is Cyrus Maina Gichuha. I am a born again christian who tries to emulate Christ in my daily life. I have been called to serve as a teacher in ministry because I have a passion for interacting with fellow believers and sharing the gift that has been bestowed upon me. My craft is music and I have a desire for excellence hence I became a teacher of music because this is my act of worship.

Serving at Waiyaki Way Community Church fills me with purpose because I get to interact with and impart wisdom on the children that I help to teach every other week. This ensures that they are able to grow both in wisdom and their faith in Jesus Christ.

Music is my purpose, profession, passion, vocation, circumstance and calling. I not only teach a variety of instruments, but I am also a session musician that is quite experienced in studio works and also as a performer with notable musical artists in various platforms over the years. Teaching remains to be my primary passion because I feel most fulfilled when I share my knowledge with others.
